At Mara Weddings, we are delighted to guide and help couples create the Wedding Day of their dreams. We specialise in Elopement / micro weddings in Scotland (up to 10 people) and have local knowledge and a great love for everything Scottish! Smaller weddings still require a lot of planning and administrative tasks, and we are here to take as much away from you as possible so you can prepare and enjoy your special day, especially when you are further away or live outside of Scotland. We are based in East Lothian, an overlooked area with stunning beaches, enchanting woods, and many ruins and castles that are hidden gems and the perfect spot to tie the knot! It is also the sunniest part of Scotland, which is a bonus. We also love the Highlands and Islands, so wherever you look to get married, we are here to help. We offer different packages and hourly hires. We also offer a Witness service (witnesses are required for legal weddings in Scotland) and can offer you individual packages as well—don't be shy to ask us. At Mara Weddings, we combine our love for Romance with our long-standing background in the corporate world—a perfect combination. We can advise you on the differences in ceremonies, the seasons in Scotland, wonderful outdoor spots, castles for hire, and so much more! We know wonderful photographers, where you can get the most beautiful flowers for your wedding, and some venues that you would never find elsewhere.
