Wedding photography that feels like you If you're looking for wedding photography that's natural, relaxed and a little less formal, you're in the right place. I'm Gavin, a wedding photographer based in Morecambe, covering Lancashire, Cumbria, Cheshire, the Lake District, the wider North West and weddings further afield. My approach is simple: I want you to enjoy your wedding, not spend it posing for photographs. I'll be there to capture the big moments, the little moments and all the stuff that happens in between – the laughter, the nerves, the tears, the ridiculous dance moves and the moments you probably didn't even realise were happening. I do take some more traditional and posed photographs when you want them – particularly family and group shots – but I don't believe your wedding day should feel like a photo shoot. For most of the day I'll be quietly blending in with your guests, watching for those genuine moments and capturing them as they happen. It's your wedding, your way Every couple is different, so I don't work from a rigid formula. Before your wedding I'll take the time to find out what's important to you, what you want from your photographs and, just as importantly, what you don't want. Whether you want lots of candid photographs, a handful of family groups, some time alone for a few portraits, or a mixture of everything, I'll tailor the day around you. And if you're worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera, don't be. Most people aren't models and most couples tell me they're not particularly comfortable having their photograph taken. That's absolutely fine – I'll guide you when needed and leave you alone when that's the better option.
