We were initially hopeful when choosing Flower Hamlet, particularly because of their “London Luxury Wedding Florist” branding and the range of previous work showcased on Instagram. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of our expectations at almost every stage of the wedding floristry process. Communication & Planning Communication throughout the planning process was disappointing. There were issues with responsiveness when liaising with our venue, and we did not feel we received clear or confident professional guidance regarding the proposed flower style, layout, or exactly what would be prepared and delivered on the wedding day. As a result, we felt uncertain about what to expect leading up to the event. Wedding Day Delivery The biggest disappointment was the wedding-day arrival and setup. We had specifically paid an additional transport fee for the flowers. Despite this, the florist arrived approximately 45 minutes late to our wedding. On arrival, further time was spent attempting to take videos, which appeared to be for social media purposes, despite already being significantly behind schedule. There also appeared to be no contingency plan in place when the original transport arrangement failed, despite us having paid for transportation as part of the service. During setup, we noticed unevenly cut stems left on the floor, as well as wilting bridesmaid bouquets and table arrangements. Given the importance of the flowers to our wedding day, this was particularly disappointing. Accountability & Value Following the late arrival, we did not receive any reimbursement for the disruption, nor did we feel there was meaningful acknowledgement or accountability for what had happened. In terms of value for money, we would describe it as okay, but overall, we would have preferred to pay more for a florist with greater experience, stronger organisation, clearer communication, and a more professional approach to managing the wedding-
