Music was always going to be one of the most important parts of our wedding, so choosing the right DJ was something we took very seriously. After going through DJ Jah’s mixes, it was an easy decision and looking back now, it was absolutely the right one. From the consultations, it was clear he really listened. He understood the assignment and knew the atmosphere we wanted and the role music would play across the entire reception. The flow he created — from the reception into dinner and then into the main party was seamless. Nothing felt forced or out of place. Every transition made sense, and the energy built naturally as the night went on. What really stood out was the range and how well it was executed. HighLife, Afrobeats, Gospel, Hip Hop, R&B, reggae, bashment, old school, new school, along with our specific requests — everything was covered, and more importantly, it was mixed properly. He also read the room brilliantly. He knew when to shift the energy, when to lean into a vibe, and when to switch things up to keep everyone engaged. A special mention as well to how well he worked with Daz the MC. The interplay between them was effortless and elevated the entire reception. You would never have guessed it was their first wedding working together. Ultimately, the music carried the night, and DJ Jah played a huge role in making the reception as memorable as it was. We’re genuinely grateful for the job he did. For us, this is a full 10/10. If we had to do it all over again, DJ Jah would be our choice without hesitation. Highly recommended and very fairly priced considering how important his role is in making the night what it is.

Jah is just amazing. We had him play at our wedding last month and couldn’t recommend him enough. From start to finish he was great! He turned up with plenty of time to set up. Playing for the crowd which was a mixture of people, he catered for everyone. All my guests complimented the music and the dj and said how great he was.
