Conscious Weddings

Asking Amanda to marry us was one of the very best decisions we made — she held our queer and multicultural wedding so incredibly beautifully. We went with her 'Journey' package, which we are also so glad and grateful we did: these structured calls over a six month period before the wedding involved reflective exercises and some rituals and really helped us to prepare mentally, emotionally and spiritually for the step we were taking. We can't imagine how we would have managed without going through this process - and without Amanda holding it for us with so much joy, love and creativity! She also gave us a huge amount of support in writing and practising our vows, and in preparing for the logistics of our trilingual ceremony (we got married in English, Spanish, and British Sign Language - not the easiest job for a celebrant to navigate, but Amanda did it brilliantly!) We knew from our first call with Amanda that she was the perfect fit for our wedding. We wanted to feel like we had a friend next to us at our ceremony, who cared about our story as much as we did - Amanda delivered exactly what we had hoped for, even better than we had hoped for. Amanda went above and beyond to craft a ceremony that felt personal, light joyful, and totally unique to us - all of our guests absolutely loved her energy and even thought that we had known eachother a long time because she told our story so well. We had lots of calls and emails before the day to plan our ceremony, including a final rehearsal call, and Amanda was always happy to answer questions or make any changes, even last minute ones! We couldn't reccommend Amanda more, she made us feel totally comfortable and supported throughout the whole process and especially on the big day!
