Loretta was absolutely the best planner we could have wished for. Worth every single penny! We booked her 2 years in advance of our date - she helped us find our dream destination venue. We explored options in Greece, the Cotswolds, Italy and Spain - she had so much patience with my indecisiveness 🤣. And also with my 1 million questions that I definitely had already asked 4 times before. Organising a destination wedding is tricky when you don’t speak the language and you are dealing with different styles of working compared to the UK but we left everything to Loretta and she handled it all and kept us updated with where we needed to action things. When we were scouting out vendors she put together little packs of options with prices, pros and cons - it was so helpful. This is especially tricky in a remote part of Tuscany but somehow she found dream vendors for us. She really made the process a lot less stressful. She’s super organised and reliable and we scheduled check-ins closer to our wedding date to ensure everything was getting sorted, ready for the day. But she was always reachable whenever and always willing to jump on a call. She’s super transparent with costs and was always keeping us informed on how certain decisions would impact costs, where things were within or over budget (it happens!!!) or how we could save on other aspects if we decided to splurge a bit more on something else. We were really keen to stay in budget and we did :). We had our wedding in Tuscany followed by a pool day so double the events to plan. Everything was perfect and ran so smoothly. Loretta would keep me involved in all the little details and decisions to be made on the day, eg some changes to table placement due to lighting and deciding where to have confetti shots! I really appreciated being kept in the loop on those decisions as all the little details were important to me. Her and Paul coordinated our wedding day and they were just amazing. They had such an eye for detail so everything was perfectly in its place. We only met Paul on the weekend but he’s just brilliant and such a nice guy. And the same to be said for Loretta - working with her to build our dream wedding over the past couple of years has been so wonderful. I am now three weeks out from my London wedding, and hiring Loretta at Caribou Events was, without question, one of the best decisions we made. When I first started planning, I thought our wedding would be one simple dinner for around 35 close family members. Then, just two and a half months before the wedding, we completely changed course. We increased the guest list to 75, added a welcome dinner, and suddenly everything felt crazy overwhelming. Then someone recommended Loretta!! From our very first conversation, she completely changed the experience of planning our wedding. From the get go Loretta was the greatest asset to our wedding. We faced many obstacles along the way due to factors out of our control - be it our venue cancelling one month before the event date, organising catering from. multiple different suppliers to bring our vision to life, having a winter wedding in a venue with no lighting or heating - Loretta fixed it all seamlessly. We could not have had such a perfect and beatiful event without her.
