A bit about me - Hi, I’m Luke, husband, father, and multi award winning photographer who specialises in both digital and 35mm photography. My family is everything to me. I live in London with my wife and our two wonderful children: Dalí (named after the painter) and Llewyn (inspired by the first film my wife and I saw at the cinema). Our life revolves around art, design, and making memories whether that’s hiking, visiting galleries, or traveling. My daughter has recently taken an interest in photography, which I’m absolutely loving! Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I studied it at university, and for the past 17 years, I’ve been lucky enough to call it my career. I started out in the fashion industry, shooting editorial and lifestyle campaigns. My career has taken me to some incredible places, working with brands like Stella McCartney, Net-A-Porter, Nespresso, Nike, and H&M, as well as publications including Vogue, Grazia, and The Sunday Times. It was a colourful, fast-paced, and inspiring time in my life, one that shaped how I see light, composition, and storytelling. I won’t bore you with all the details (unless you ask then I’m more than happy to share!). But that experience plays a huge role in how I approach wedding photography today. I don’t like putting rigid labels on my style, but if I had to, I’d describe it as a mix of documentary and editorial. I’m not there to stage endless shots or pull couples away from their celebration for hours. My focus is on capturing real emotions, moments, and the joy of the day, telling the full story as it naturally unfolds. Being part of such an important day is a huge honour, and I feel incredibly fortunate to do this for a living. Every wedding is unique, and I love getting to know each couple, their families, and the little moments that make their day so special. Nearly all my couples say it feels like having a friend photograph their wedding, which is the best compliment I could ask for. Emma, one of my recent brides, put it perfectly: “On the day, Luke’s calming presence, advice, and gentle instructions made it feel like he was just another friend in the room.” If that sounds like the kind of photographer you’re looking for, I’d love to hear from you. My Approach to weddings - From the moment I arrive in the morning to the second I collapse at the end of the night, I don’t stop moving constantly making creative choices capturing those little unseen moments. Weddings move fast, especially during the ceremony and reception, and I thrive on that energy. I’m always pushing myself to capture the next shot, whether it’s a big moment like the first dance or a quiet, fleeting glance between loved ones. Even when the dance floor is wild, I’m still chasing those final frames as thats my favourite part of the day to capture. Some moments are obvious, the confetti toss, the first kiss, but the magic often lies in the in-between. A proud smile from a parent, an old school friend joking with a family member, a whispered joke between friends, the unguarded, unscripted interactions that make your day unique. Because for me, wedding photography isn’t just about documenting the day, it’s about telling your story, down to the smallest, most beautiful details.
